Dr. Chandra Lebenhagen is the founder and Director of Including Autism, and a leading voice in inclusive education and neurodiversity. She holds a Doctorate in Curriculum and Learning and brings over 20 years of experience as a teacher, inclusion consultant, and university instructor.
She is the author of multiple peer-reviewed publications, including Autism and Inclusive Education: A Guide for Teachers, Practitioners and Parents. Her work challenges traditional deficit-based models of autism by advancing interdisciplinary, evidence-informed approaches that translate into meaningful, real-world impact—particularly within classrooms and communities navigating systemic barriers.
Through research, design, and collaboration, Dr. Lebenhagen partners with autistic individuals, families, and educators to co-create responsive, equitable learning environments where all learners are supported to meaningfully participate and reach their full potential.
