Grant Blasko

Nonspeaking autistic advocate and researcher focused on AAC and inclusion.

Grant Blasko is a nonspeaking autistic advocate, AAC user, and undergraduate student studying Integrated Social Sciences at the University of Washington.

He serves on the Advisory Council for CommunicationFIRST and presents at national conferences such as TASH and AutCom. He was the first nonspeaking autistic individual accepted into the DO-IT program and received the DO-IT Trailblazer award in 2024.

Blasko is also a published researcher, co-authoring academic papers on systemic barriers faced by AAC users and advocating for meaningful inclusion of AAC users in research and technology development.
