Lisa Vallado is a biologist and nonspeaking autistic advocate who uses typing as her primary form of communication. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Washington Adventist University in 2022.
She is known for advocating for inclusion of individuals with disabilities in higher education and frequently presents at conferences such as TASH.
Vallado gained recognition through the documentary Sisterly and contributes to educational initiatives supporting nonspeaking students.
