Sujit Kurup is a nonspeaking autistic advocate, consultant, researcher, poet, writer, and visual artist who communicates through typing.
He serves as a board member of the Autism National Committee and contributes to research on neurodivergent communication and inclusive education. He has co-authored academic work exploring barriers faced by multimodal communicators.
Kurup actively collaborates on projects focused on ethical co-design of communication technologies and frequently speaks about sensory-motor differences in autism.
In addition to his research and advocacy, he is also a visual artist with exhibited work.
